Ambev- (ABV)-engages in the production, distribution, and sale of beer, carbonated soft drinks, and non alcoholic and non carbonated products in principally Latin America. The company also sells isotonics, iced tea, and bottled water, as well as offers malt and by-products to third parties. It also bottles, sells, and distributes PepsiCo International, Inc.'s products outside the United States. Companhia de Bebidas distributes its products through third-party distributors and the company's direct distribution centers in 14 countries across the Americas. The company was founded in 1888 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
